Job Title: Associate Attorney – Insurance Defense

Job Description:

We are seeking an ambitious Associate Attorney with a passion for insurance defense work. This is a unique opportunity for an attorney who has a craft for persuasive writing and excels in case law research. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience handling Insurance Defense cases (personal injury, construction litigation, professional liability) cases and will be responsible for managing litigation matters from inception to resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in insurance defense cases, including depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Conduct thorough case law research to develop strong legal arguments.
• Draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and trial briefs.
• Assist senior attorneys in preparing for trial and actively participate in courtroom proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in personal injury litigation.

Requirements:

• J.D. and active license to practice law in Florida (Required).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong persuasive writing and legal research skills.
• Desire to gain extensive trial experience and refine courtroom advocacy.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
