Job Description

A well-respected ag operation with multiple locations across the Mid-Atlantic is currently seeking a reliable  Agricultural Sprayer Technician to support crop input application and agronomic fieldwork. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating large machinery, and contributing to productive growing seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate floaters, sprayers, and other specialized machinery for in-season field applications

  • Apply crop inputs including liquid fertilizers and pesticides with accuracy and care

  • Assess field conditions before and during application activities, reporting observations to agronomy staff

  • Coordinate with support crews for loading, mixing, and nursing operations

  • Gather soil samples and assist with data mapping and GPS-based records

  • Assist field reps with customer support, product deliveries, and field checks as needed

  • Complete routine equipment maintenance and uphold safety standards

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Background in agriculture or experience operating large machinery preferred

  • Understanding of crop production practices and agricultural inputs

  • Basic math and recordkeeping skills

  • Valid CDL preferred (or willingness to obtain; training)

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail

  • Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons

  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
