Position Summary:
The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, conducting quantity takeoffs, evaluating subcontractor proposals, and developing competitive bid packages for commercial building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Review architectural and engineering drawings for scope alignment
Complete detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing breakdowns
Solicit, evaluate, and compare subcontractor bids
Prepare estimate summaries, clarifications, and value recommendations
Assist with bid strategy and proposal development
Qualifications:
3–6 years estimating experience in commercial construction
Strong ability to read plans and assess constructability
Solid analytical and organizational skills
