Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Indianapolis IN

Position Summary: The Quality Engineer will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the strict requirements of our Defense and Aerospace customers. This role involves working closely with customer specifications, inspection data, and supporting a fast-paced, small-batch manufacturing environment with complex, high-precision projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and apply customer specifications to production and inspection processes

  • Manage and review First Article Inspections (FAI) and inspection data

  • Partner with machinists and engineers to ensure compliance with tight tolerances and quality standards

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality processes and documentation

  • Provide technical guidance in a machine job shop/development manufacturing environment

  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding quality standards and requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience in quality engineering within a machine shop or development manufacturing environment

  • Background in Defense and/or Aerospace industries preferred

  • Strong knowledge of FAI and inspection processes

  • Familiarity with customer specifications for high-profile aerospace clients

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small-batch manufacturing setting

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
