Dermatology Medical Assistant in Chicago

Job Description

Top notch dermatology clinic is looking for a Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will assist the dermatologist and midlevel providers in providing high-quality medical care to patients in our dermatology practice.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and prepare them for their appointments
• Obtain patient medical history and vital signs
• Assist dermatologist in patient examinations and procedures
• Administer medications as directed by the dermatologist
• Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• Perform administrative duties as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program
• Certification as a medical assistant
• Knowledge of dermatology medical terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in medical record-keeping and documentation
• YOU MUST HAVE DERMATOLOGY EXPERIENCE
