Job Title: Heavy Civil Superintendent
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to oversee and lead crews on various heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience managing field operations and supervising crews on large-scale construction projects. Heavy civil projects, including excavation/earthworks, underground utilities, roadway construction, concrete structures, and more.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage crews on heavy civil construction projects.
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Coordinate daily activities, including scheduling and assigning work tasks.
Monitor jobsite safety, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
Oversee quality control to ensure work meets specifications and industry standards.
Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Track project progress and resolve any issues or delays.
Ensure proper documentation and reporting of work progress, safety compliance, and other necessary records.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience as a Heavy Civil Superintendent or in a similar role.
Strong experience in excavation/earthworks, underground utilities, roadway construction, and concrete structures.
Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety standards.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using HCSS, Agtek, and other related softwares
