A respected civil defense firm in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney to join its established litigation team. Represent hospitals, physicians, and healthcare providers in complex, high-exposure matters while gaining hands-on litigation experience and strong mentorship.
What You’ll Do:
Defend medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution or trial
Handle depositions, hearings, and discovery
Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
Collaborate on case strategy and risk assessment with experienced litigators
Represent clients in mediations and trial prep
What We’re Looking For:
Licensed in Florida and in good standing
Civil litigation experience; medical malpractice or insurance defense a plus
Strong writing, research, and advocacy skills
Organized, responsive, and committed to client service
