Seeking a hands-on Quality Manager with a mechanical engineering background and experience in welding, hydraulics, cylinders, and prototype work. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the floor, solving problems, and improving processes in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:
Oversee all quality control and assurance functions across production and assembly areas
Inspect and verify components, welds, and hydraulic assemblies for accuracy and compliance
Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions to resolve product or process issues
Work closely with engineering on prototypes and new product development to ensure design intent and manufacturability
Maintain and improve the company’s quality management systems and documentation
Develop and implement inspection plans, testing procedures, and quality standards
Support audits, certifications, and customer quality requirements
Train and guide employees on quality procedures and continuous improvement practices
Communicate quality performance metrics and drive process improvements across departments
Qualifications:
Background in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
Experience with welding, hydraulics, and cylinder assemblies
Strong knowledge of inspection tools, testing equipment, and quality documentation
Proven ability to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Familiarity with ISO standards and manufacturing quality systems
