Job Description

A well-established engineering firm in Charleston, SC is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team. This firm has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing in the U.S. and offers a collaborative and supportive work environment with a wide range of project types, from historic renovations to large-scale federal site designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with structural design and analysis for various projects
  • Develop and prepare structural engineering drawings using Revit
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful execution of structural designs
  • Perform structural calculations and design for building systems
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success
  • Maintain professional communication with clients and team members

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 2-6 years of structural design experience
  • EIT not required, but preferred
  • Experience with Revit (required)
  • Familiarity with RAM Structural System or ETABS (preferred but not required)
  • General knowledge of building construction materials and processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong professional communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and a drive to exceed client expectations
