Project Manager
GPAC is currently looking for a full time Project Manager to manage earthwork and utility construction projects
General Duties
Works with the project teams to provide project management from estimate through close out.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works with Project Team to strategize and select project opportunities.
- Review project documents; prepare takeoffs; obtain subcontractor and material quotes; develop pricing for proposed work; and prepares final bid proposal.
- Assists other Estimators/Project Managers with estimate reviews.
- Prepares and executes subcontract agreements for all subcontractors.
- Develop and maintain relationships and collaborate with owners, design team, and subcontractors.
- Prepare and schedule buyout meeting and documents to ensure that the operations teams understand the entire scopes of work, budgets, productivity factors and schedules prior to the start of construction.
- Submit Owner billings in a timely manner.
- Process and code all project invoices on a weekly basis.
- Provides monthly project financial and schedule updates.
- Provide all administrative documents including change orders, pay applications, etc.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to manage multiple bids and projects at the same time.
- Proficiency with all MS Office products, and MS Project.
- The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be detail oriented, have a positive attitude, and have an ability to work well with all project team members.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent related work experience.
- 2-3+ years construction project management experience, preference given to underground utility construction experience.
