Job Description

Family Law Attorney – 2–10 Years of Experience

A growing Tulsa Oklahoma law firm is seeking a Family Law Attorney with 2–10 years of experience to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who can independently manage cases and confidently represent clients in court while still having access to guidance, support, and mentorship when needed.

Trial experience is not required. However, candidates must be comfortable handling their own court appearances, hearings, and day-to-day caseload. If a matter proceeds to trial, an experienced attorney will aid and support.

This is an on-site position with flexibility when personal needs arise. The firm has a strong and consistent caseload, giving motivated attorneys the opportunity to earn more than $25,000 annually through three separate bonus programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage family law cases from intake through resolution
  • Represent clients during hearings, conferences, mediations, and other court proceedings
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and correspondence
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and support staff
  • Develop case strategies and provide clients with practical legal guidance
  • Negotiate settlements and prepare cases for court
  • Maintain deadlines, organized case files, and accurate billing records
  • Travel to courts and client matters within approximately 60 miles
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff

Qualifications

  • Licensed attorney in good standing in Oklahoma
  • 2–10 years of family law experience
  • Able to independently manage a family law caseload
  • Comfortable handling court appearances without direct supervision
  • Trial experience is not required
  • Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage competing deadlines
  • Willing to travel within approximately 60 miles as needed
  • Interested in autonomy, professional development, and long-term growth

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary
  • Three separate bonus opportunities
  • Potential to earn more than $25,000 annually in bonuses based on performance and effort
  • Full benefits package
  • Paid mileage and parking
  • Firm-paid trial school after one year
  • Potential relocation assistance
  • Adequate paralegal and administrative support
  • Autonomy over cases and case strategy
  • Mentorship and trial support when needed
  • Firm-sponsored team-building activities
  • On-site position with flexibility when necessary
