Job Description

Join our National Project Management team as a Traveling Project Manager! Manage mechanical construction projects from conception to completion at job sites across the United States. 
Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate mechanical construction projects from start to finish
  • Lead and communicate with engineering, VDC (BIM), schedulers, field staff, customers, and subcontractors
  • Order materials and equipment, issue subcontracts, manage RFIs, change orders, and submittals
  • Oversee fabrication shop work packages, material take-offs, and man-hour budgets
  • Collaborate with Safety teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
  • Plan ahead to prevent and resolve project issues
  • Ensure all contractual conditions and project requirements are met

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years' experience as a Project Manager in mechanical construction
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of HVAC and piping systems, construction methods, and building codes preferred
  • Proficiency with P6 or Microsoft Project
  • Strong time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently onsite

Schedule

  • 6-day work week, 10-hour shifts
  • Onsite for project duration
  • Eligible for home travel every 3–4 weeks for 2–3 days
