About the Opportunity

A well-established plaintiff-focused law firm in Chicago is looking for an experienced Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join its litigation team. This role offers the chance to make a real difference by advocating for injured clients while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage workers’ compensation or personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial.

  • Draft pleadings, conduct discovery, and prepare cases for hearings and arbitrations.

  • Represent clients in court, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.

  • Maintain strong client communication and ensure clients are informed every step of the way.

  • Work closely with paralegals and fellow attorneys to effectively manage a busy caseload.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of litigation experience in Workers’ Compensation OR Personal Injury (with interest in transitioning to WC).

  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois and in good standing.

  • Strong litigation, negotiation, and client-advocacy skills.

  • Excellent legal writing, research, and communication abilities.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to balance multiple active cases.

  • Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.
