About the Opportunity
A well-established plaintiff-focused law firm in Chicago is looking for an experienced Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join its litigation team. This role offers the chance to make a real difference by advocating for injured clients while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
Manage workers’ compensation or personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial.
Draft pleadings, conduct discovery, and prepare cases for hearings and arbitrations.
Represent clients in court, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
Maintain strong client communication and ensure clients are informed every step of the way.
Work closely with paralegals and fellow attorneys to effectively manage a busy caseload.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of litigation experience in Workers’ Compensation OR Personal Injury (with interest in transitioning to WC).
Licensed to practice law in Illinois and in good standing.
Strong litigation, negotiation, and client-advocacy skills.
Excellent legal writing, research, and communication abilities.
Highly organized, proactive, and able to balance multiple active cases.
Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.
