2nd Shift Production Supervisor – Dairy Manufacturing

Salary: $63,000–$85,000 Base + Benefits + Retirement Program

A well-established dairy manufacturer in the South Western WI area is seeking a hands-on 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee evening production and packaging operations. This role is ideal for a dependable floor leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to producing high-quality dairy products safely and efficiently.

What You Will Do

  • Lead 2nd shift production activities and ensure smooth, efficient operations

  • Supervise, train, schedule, and coach production employees for consistent, high-performance results

  • Ensure sanitation, pre-op checks, and start-up readiness meet strict standards

  • Troubleshoot equipment or process issues and drive ongoing improvements

  • Maintain compliance with food safety programs (HACCP, GMPs, audits)

  • Partner with plant leadership and other shift supervisors to ensure smooth handoffs and communication

  • Champion a strong safety culture through active visibility on the floor

What You Need to Bring

  • 2+ years of production leadership experience in dairy or food manufacturing

  • Strong understanding of sanitation, regulatory expectations, and production best practices

  • Proven ability to coach and motivate a team, especially in off-shift environments

  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills

  • Flexibility to support shift-based schedules and occasional weekend needs

  • Dairy experience preferred; cheese license a plus but not required
