We are seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager to join one of Atlanta’s top general contractors. This is a full-time opportunity with a financially strong, award-winning construction firm known for delivering excellence in commercial and light industrial construction projects across the region.
As a Construction Project Manager, you will lead exciting, high-visibility builds while mentoring your team and building lasting relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors. If you're passionate about quality construction, client service, and professional growth, this role is for you.
Lead all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
Collaborate with Estimating during the preconstruction phase
Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications
Provide mentorship and leadership to less experienced project management staff
Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
Oversee subcontractor procurement: buyouts, scope reviews, contract management, insurance, and bonding
Guide resolution of drawing interpretation issues and design conflicts
Supervise project administration: submittals, RFIs, change orders, billing, time sheets, and monthly reporting
Ensure accurate, timely billing to owners and monitor subcontractor invoicing
Track and manage project budgets and cost forecasts
Create and manage detailed project schedules, with regular updates
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience
5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial or light industrial construction
In-depth knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and jobsite operations
Strong financial acumen and ability to manage costs, timelines, and contracts independently
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
