Labor & Employment Attorney (Hybrid)
GPAC, a 30+ year recruitment firm, is partnered with a well-established regional law firm seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join their practice. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled attorney to handle a broad range of labor and employment law matters within a collegial and professional environment.
Represent employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including:
Labor relations, collective bargaining, and union negotiations
Arbitrations and unfair labor practice proceedings before the NLRB and state agencies
Employment litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage-and-hour disputes
Employment counseling on compliance with state and federal labor and employment laws
Drafting and reviewing employment agreements, handbooks, and workplace policies
Provide ongoing legal advice to management and HR professionals on employee relations, discipline, and workplace investigations.
Maintain client relationships and deliver practical, business-oriented legal solutions.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Washington State Bar and in good standing.
4+ years of experience practicing labor and employment law, including both counseling and litigation.
Demonstrated ability to handle matters before administrative agencies and in state or federal court.
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
Proven record of professionalism and consistent work history.
Hybrid and flexible work arrangement (in-person presence preferred initially).
Low billable hour requirement with bonus opportunities for additional hours billed.
