Medical Records Coordinator | Personal Injury Litigation

Location: Newport Beach, CA
Schedule: Full-Time, In- Person
Compensation: $22–$26/hour, depending on experience

A respected Southern California personal injury law firm is seeking a Medical Records Coordinator to join its litigation team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who understands the importance of accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and timely follow-up in a legal environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Collect, request, and organize medical and pharmacy records for litigation matters
  • Communicate with healthcare providers, clients, legal professionals, and other parties to obtain records
  • Review records for accuracy and completeness
  • Scan, upload, organize, and maintain electronic documentation
  • Track outstanding requests and consistently follow up to ensure timely receipt
  • Manage multiple matters and competing priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Handle sensitive medical and legal information with the highest level of confidentiality
  • Support the litigation team with additional records-related administrative tasks as needed

  • Professional, collaborative approach when working with clients, medical providers, attorneys, and staff
  • Demonstrated discretion when handling confidential information
  • Prior experience with medical records, personal injury, litigation, or a legal environment is strongly preferred
