A growing engineering firm in Marietta, GA is seeking an experienced Environmental-Civil Engineer / Project Manager. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in environmental and civil engineering to lead and manage a variety of impactful projects, particularly in sensitive areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage engineering design and project tasks for environmental and civil engineering projects
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and permit applications
- Design for site grading, stormwater management, and pump systems
- Conduct construction engineering inspections and documentation services
- Participate in environmental field work, including monitoring, sampling, and assessments
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in environmental or civil engineering, with project management experience
- Professional Engineer’s (PE) license (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with site grading, stormwater management, and piping systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal permitting requirements
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
