Job Title: Structural Steel & Miscellaneous Metals Detailer
We are looking for a Structural Steel and Miscellaneous Metals Detailer with at least 3 years of experience. You will create detailed drawings for structural steel and misc metals like stairs and railings. Experience with Tekla software is a plus.
Create detailed shop and erection drawings for steel parts
Read and understand construction drawings and specs
Work with engineers and fabricators to solve problems
Make sure drawings are accurate and meet standards
Update drawings as needed and communicate changes
Help maintain drawing templates and standards
Join project meetings when needed
3+ years of experience detailing structural and miscellaneous steel
Experience using Tekla Structures or similar software (AutoCAD, SDS/2, Advance Steel)
Good understanding of steel fabrication and erection
Able to read and interpret drawings clearly
Detail-oriented and organized
Good communication skills
Able to work well alone or with a team
