Job Title: Concrete Superintendent – Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants

Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to oversee self-performed concrete operations on water and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven background leading crews on large civil and industrial concrete scopes, including slabs on grade, elevated slabs, flatwork, foundations, and footings.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise all field concrete operations on WWTP projects.

  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specifications.

  • Interpret plans and specifications to provide direction to crews.

  • Ensure quality control on all concrete work, including placement and finishing.

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Owners to meet project goals.

  • Maintain accurate daily reports and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

  • Mentor and develop field personnel to maintain a high-performing team.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 2+ years in a superintendent or foreman role.

  • Strong experience with water/wastewater treatment plant projects highly preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schedules.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Safety-focused with knowledge of industry standards and practices.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary dependent on experience.

  • Per diem available if travel is required.

  • Monthly vehicle allowance.

  • 401(k) with full company match up to 3% and half match from 3–5%.

  • Annual/project-based bonus tied to both project and company performance.
