Job Description

Sseeking a highly motivated and experienced probate and estate/trust administration attorney with 3-4 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in probate, administration, trusts, fiduciary, and beneficiary matters. Additionally, if candidate has experience in gift and estate tax planning, then that’s a plus. The candidate will work closely with clients, attorneys, and accountants. Responsibilities will include all phases of trust and estate administration (including preparation of estate tax returns), litigation support, and fiduciary Accountings. Strong knowledge of Surrogate’s Court rules and procedures (e.g., probate, administration, accounting proceedings and contested matters) is essential.

Qualifications:

  • J.D.
  • Admitted to practice in NY.
  • 3-4 years of experience in probate administration and trust/estate tax planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
