Bankruptcy Attorney | Remote | Florida

A well-established law firm is seeking a Florida-licensed Bankruptcy Attorney with 1–10 years of experience to join its growing bankruptcy practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with experience representing lenders and creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 matters, with strong exposure to bankruptcy litigation and court proceedings.

What You'll Do

  • Handle Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters, primarily representing lenders and creditors
  • Attend required bankruptcy court hearings throughout the Middle District of Florida
  • Handle bankruptcy litigation, including Adversary Complaints and appeals
  • Assist with Chapter 11 matters and other complex bankruptcy proceedings
  • Manage cases independently while providing strong legal guidance to clients

What We're Looking For

  • 1–10 years of bankruptcy experience
  • Florida Bar admission and current physical residence in Florida
  • Strong understanding of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy procedures and law
  • Bankruptcy litigation experience, particularly Adversary Complaints and appeals, strongly preferred
  • Chapter 11 experience preferred
  • Experience representing lenders and creditors is a plus
  • Multiple jurisdiction admissions are a significant plus
  • Ability to appear in court in the Middle District of Florida

What You'll Get

  • Fully remote work-from-home position, with required court appearances

  • $100,000–$130,000 base salary
  • Eligibility for a discretionary bankruptcy bonus program up to $11,500 annually
  • 1,920 annual billable hour requirement
  • Bonus eligibility beginning at 2,100 billable hours
  • Strong opportunity for continued growth within the bankruptcy practice
