As a Commercial Drywall Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the metal framing, drywall, ACT, and exteriors for various commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all phases of commercial drywall projects, including scheduling, material orders, and subcontractor coordination
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards
- Supervise field personnel, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure project objectives are met
Essential Job Functions
- Utilize your 2+ years of superintendent experience specific to metal framing, drywall, ACT, and exteriors to successfully lead and manage commercial drywall projects
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, effectively managing a team and coordinating resources
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members
- Exhibit exceptional problem-solving abilities, resolving issues promptly and efficiently
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and project profitability
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of commercial drywall construction methods, materials, and techniques
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Ability to effectively use technology, including project management software, to track progress and communicate with team members
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
