Job Description

We are seeking two Job Captains to join a top-tier full-service community design firm with six offices throughout the United States. This award-winning National Design Firm specializes in production housing for both single-family and multi-family builders across the country. As a member of this team, you will play a vital role in the design and production process, contributing to a range of exciting residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee design teams to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
• Draft and review architectural drawings for residential production housing.
• Maintain consistent quality across production sets while managing multiple project timelines.
• Utilize AutoCAD to create and update drawings, ensuring adherence to company standards.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and clients for smooth project execution.
• Troubleshoot and solve any AutoCAD software issues, including setting up templates across offices.
• Handle project documentation, revisions, and maintain project records.

Requirements

• Minimum of a 2-year design degree
• 5+ years minimum experience in residential production housing
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2013 or later
• Ability to solve AutoCAD software issues and set up templates across multiple offices (preferred)
• Strong drafting skills are essential for this position
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
