As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys and ensuring the efficient operation of our legal practice. You will work closely with our legal team to assist in various aspects of case preparation, research, and client communication. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who is passionate about the legal profession.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Case Management: Assist attorneys in organizing and managing legal documents, case files, and related materials.
  2. Legal Research: Conduct legal research using various resources to support case preparation and strategy development.
  3. Document Preparation: Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and agreements.
  4. Client Interaction: Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties as needed, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  5. Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with courts, administrative agencies, and other relevant authorities.
  6. Calendar Management: Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments, hearings, and deadlines.
  7. Billing Support: Assist in tracking billable hours and preparing invoices for clients.
  8. Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones, handling mail, and maintaining office supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Paralegal certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a paralegal in a law firm or legal department.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in legal software and research tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of legal ethics and confidentiality.
