Position Overview: The firm is looking for a talented and ambitious Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join their team. In this role, you will handle a variety of insurance defense cases, including personal injury, property damage, and professional liability claims. You will work closely with experienced attorneys and play a key role in developing and executing case strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in insurance defense cases through all stages of litigation.
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed memoranda on complex issues.
• Advocate for clients at depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and clients.
• Negotiate settlements and manage case files with efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide clear and timely communication to clients, offering expert legal advice and updates.
• Stay informed about current legal developments and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Oregon Bar.
• 2+ years of experience in insurance defense or a related practice area (preferred).
• Proven litigation skills and experience handling complex cases.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
