HR Generalist

Summary

Responsible for managing day-to-day HR, employee relations, safety, workers’ compensation, payroll support, recruiting, and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee orientation.
• Oversee employee relations, performance reviews, corrective actions, and terminations.
• Administer benefits, compensation, payroll support, and employee programs.
• Manage workers’ compensation, OSHA compliance, safety programs, and incident reporting.
• Maintain HRIS, personnel records, employee handbook, and HR documentation.
• Coordinate employee training, meetings, and company communications.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Provide general HR support to employees and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR or related experience.
• Degree in HR related field
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of discretion, integrity, and sound judgment.
• Ability to multi-task
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Work Environment

Primarily office-based with regular interaction in a manufacturing environment.
