A highly respected general contractor in Minnesota is expanding their footprint in the data center, advanced manufacturing, and industrial markets—and they’re looking to add a Business Developer to their Minneapolis-based team. This is a high-impact role focused on identifying opportunities, building strong industry relationships, and helping secure complex, large-scale projects. What You’ll Do:
Drive business development efforts across the commercial, industrial, and mission-critical sectors
Develop and execute a territory sales plan
Generate new client relationships and maintain existing ones
Prepare quotes and proposals for prospective clients
Work closely with leadership to meet growth goals
Travel throughout the region to build relationships and close deals
What You Bring:
5+ years of experience in business development or outside sales in commercial or industrial construction
Strong understanding of complex, large-scale builds (data center, industrial, advanced manufacturing)
Proven track record of lead generation and successful deal closure
Experience working with general contractors, owners, and developers
CRM proficiency and ability to manage a full sales cycle
Existing client network is a plus
