Construction Project Engineer
Location: Los Angeles, CA

A well-established and highly regarded general contractor in the Los Angeles area is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the execution of complex commercial construction projects. Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project coordination
  • Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare RFIs, change orders, and maintain project documentation
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and procurement timelines
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Support quality control, safety compliance, and field operations
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Internship or 1–3 years of experience in commercial construction preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with construction documentation and project management software
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment
