We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Drywall Estimator to join a reputable and well-established construction firm with a strong presence in commercial interior build-outs and large-scale drywall projects. Prepare accurate, detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for drywall, framing, insulation, and related scopes of work
Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor/vendor proposals
Manage the full bid process from invitation to final submission
Maintain and build strong relationships with general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors
Coordinate and attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and scope review meetings
Track and update proposal logs and follow up on awarded and pending bids
Collaborate with project management and field teams to ensure seamless project handoff
Monitor market trends in materials and labor costs for pricing accuracy
Minimum 5 years of commercial drywall estimating experience
Proven portfolio of completed commercial projects ranging from mid-sized tenant improvements to multimillion-dollar buildouts
Strong knowledge of industry-standard takeoff and estimating software (QuickBid, OST, PlanSwift, etc.)
Excellent mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately
Professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting deadlines
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Strong tenure and history of long-term employment with previous companies
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Motivated to grow within a company and contribute to its long-term success
Salary: $110,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience
