Senior Audit Manager - Public Sector

Location: Livingston, NJ (or New York, NY)

Overview

A national public accounting, consulting and technology firm is seeking an Audit Senior Manager with public sector industry experience. Livingston, New Jersey is among the listed offices (New York also listed). The role leads client relationships, engagements and team development in the public sector vertical.

Responsibilities

• Own client relationships and build positive relationships with a variety of public sector clients
• Lead planning, execution and wrap-up of audit engagements
• Provide deep industry insight and continue to grow relationships
• Supervise and develop engagement team members
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently
• Deliver high-quality audit work in line with professional standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• CPA required
• Significant public accounting audit experience at a manager or senior manager level
• Public sector / governmental audit experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task across concurrent engagements
