This role is with a well-established commercial electrical and mechanical contractor in the Madison area that has a large, active service customer base and consistent inbound demand.
The focus is commercial electrical service and service-driven projects. Most work comes from existing customers who already trust the contractor — you’re helping identify needs, scope work correctly, and keep projects moving.
Types of electrical work you’d be selling
• Lighting upgrades and retrofits (interior and exterior)
• Power distribution upgrades and additions
• Panels, breakers, feeders, and circuit work
• Service calls that turn into repair or upgrade projects
• Tenant improvements and small remodels
• Equipment power for HVAC, mechanical, and building systems
• Code-related fixes and safety upgrades
• Ongoing service work for commercial facilities
What the role actually looks like
• Managing and growing an existing book of commercial service customers
• Walking job sites with electricians to understand scope
• Building clear, accurate proposals for service and small projects
• Working closely with service managers and field teams
• Staying involved through execution so projects go smoothly
