Project Manager / Estimator - Drywall

Summary: We’re hiring a skilled Project Manager/Estimator to lead commercial drywall projects from estimation through completion. This role requires technical know-how, strong organization, and leadership to manage multiple projects efficiently and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Manage full project lifecycle including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Coordinate teams, subcontractors, and vendors to meet timelines and project goals.
• Communicate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure specifications are met.
• Monitor progress, adjust resources, and resolve issues as needed.
• Enforce safety protocols and quality standards.
• Lead daily operations and support project teams.

Estimating:

• Review drawings and specs to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Conduct material take-offs and assess labor/equipment costs.
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors for competitive pricing.
• Prepare cost breakdowns and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage change orders and scope adjustments.

Client & Communication:

• Serve as the main client contact throughout the project.
• Provide progress updates and resolve client concerns.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records including contracts, reports, and financials.
• Complete post-project reviews and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in project management or estimating (drywall/construction preferred).
• Proficient in estimating tools (Procore, Bluebeam, OST) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of drywall systems, codes, and safety standards.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• PMP or LEED certification a plus.
