About the Practice

This established, privately owned companion animal hospital combines progressive medicine with personalized patient care. Their recently renovated facility features advanced equipment, efficient patient flow, and a collaborative culture where everyone contributes to excellent outcomes.

The practice embraces both medical and holistic approaches, including acupuncture, chiropractic care, and nutritional support, giving patients more treatment options and technicians the opportunity to continue expanding their skills.

You'll work alongside an exceptional veterinary team, including an ABVP Feline Specialist, while helping shape the future of an independent practice that plans to stay that way.

 

A Day in the Life

• Assist veterinarians with appointments, diagnostics, surgeries, and dentistry

• Monitor anesthesia and provide skilled perioperative nursing care

• Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics

• Administer medications and treatments

• Educate clients with compassion and confidence

• Care for hospitalized patients and support their recovery

• Operate advanced diagnostic equipment including digital radiology, dental radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory systems

• Collaborate with a supportive team that genuinely enjoys working together

• Take a real lunch break—and leave work at work

 

Advanced Equipment

You'll have access to:

  • GE Versana ultrasound with cardiac probe
  • Fluoroscopy
  • Digital full-body radiology
  • Digital dental radiography
  • Two fully equipped dental suites

What We're Looking For

  • Active Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential

  • Active Virginia license (or ability to obtain)

  • 5+ years of veterinary technician experience

  • Strong communication and client education skills

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team

  • Passion for exceptional patient care

  • Interest in holistic medicine is a plus
