gpac is representing a well-established gourmet food and catering company specializing in weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, corporate events, and high-end celebrations. Known for creativity, quality, and personalized service, this company is looking for a talented Head Cake Designer/Team Leader to lead their cake and bakery team.
Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of cake design, decorating, and production
Manage and mentor a team of bakers and decorators
Design and create custom cakes, cookies, and specialty desserts for events
Collaborate with event planners and clients to deliver unique designs
Ensure product quality, consistency, and timely production
Requirements:
8–10 years of cake decorating / bakery experience (preferred)
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Experience in both buttercream and fondant
Expertise in cake decorating, fondant, piping, and cookie design
Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and artistic presentation
Culinary degree or equivalent experience is a plus
Strong customer service and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary: $60,000–$85,000, based on experience
