The Opportunity:
GPAC is working wtih a reputable, well established law firm that is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Executive Assistant to support senior legal professionals and Mandarin-speaking clients. This is a dynamic, client-facing administrative role, ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and fluent in both Mandarin and English.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide executive-level administrative support to partners and senior lawyers
Communicate with clients and third parties in both Mandarin and English, in person and by phone/email
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate travel and appointments
Draft, proofread, and translate correspondence and file notes
Support digital file and document management using platforms like Soluno, NetDocuments, and Appara
Assist with new client onboarding and follow-up documentation
Provide general administrative support to the corporate/commercial, conveyancing, and wills & estates teams as needed
Screen incoming calls and direct correspondence appropriately
Ensure compliance with confidentiality requirements and Law Society of British Columbia standards
Participate in cross-training and contribute to other team projects as needed
What You Bring:
Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) is essential
1–2 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or high-level Administrative Assistant, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, proactive approach and strong communication skills
Familiarity with legal software systems like Soluno, NetDocuments, or Appara is an asset
