Assistant Director of Nursing (RN)

Skilled Nursing Facility | Brooklyn, New York

We are partnering with a well-established skilled nursing facility seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to support clinical operations and nursing leadership.

This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys mentoring staff, maintaining clinical standards, and working closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the oversight and supervision of nursing staff across the facility

  • Support daily clinical operations in collaboration with the Director of Nursing

  • Participate in staff education, training, and competency development

  • Promote effective communication and professional conduct among nursing staff

  • Support compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Provide leadership support across varied shifts as needed


Requirements

  • Active New York State RN license (required)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in long-term care

  • At least 2 years of management or supervisory experience preferred

  • 1 year of staff education or training experience preferred

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated leadership ability and experience supervising staff

  • Flexible schedule required
