Summary
Seeking an experienced Moldmaker to build, maintain, and repair plastic injection molds used in precision manufacturing. This role requires strong machining skills and a detail-oriented approach to support high-quality production.
Responsibilities
Fabricate and repair molds using manual and CNC equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD files, and engineering drawings
Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble molds
Troubleshoot mold performance issues and perform corrective actions
Perform precision measurements and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with engineering and production teams
Requirements
4+ years of moldmaking experience, preferably in plastic injection tooling
Skilled with mills, lathes, grinders, EDM, and polishing tools
Strong blueprint reading and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with hot runner systems a plus
High school diploma required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred
Additional Details
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in a shop environment
