Experienced Insurance Coverage Litigator in Indianapolis

Seeking Insurance coverage litigation attorney with minimum 5 years of experience

The ideal candidate will manage case preparation, motion and discovery practice, and second-chair trial involvement in first party health and life insurance defense cases. This role requires a strong understanding of Indiana insurance law and a proven track record in handling coverage disputes, including first-party, , and bad faith claims. 

Responsibilities:

• Analyze insurance policies and interpret coverage issues.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in all stages of litigation, including discovery, mediation, and trial.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Provide strategic advice on claim handling and litigation strategy.
• Stay current on Indiana case law and statutory changes affecting insurance coverage. 

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Indiana State Bar in good standing.
• 5 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation or defense minimum
• Strong research, writing, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with both first-party and third-party coverage issues is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary depends on years of experience for Senior Attorney + bonuses
