Insurance Defense Attorney Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Insurance Defense Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling insurance defense matters, strong litigation skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

This position offers the opportunity to work on complex cases, collaborate with a team of talented attorneys, and develop professionally in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in insurance defense litigation, including Medical Malpractice, Nursing Home Negligence, Employment, Transportation, Construction Liability, Premises Liability, Professional Liability, and Products Liability.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discover.
  • Take and defend depositions, including those of expert witnesses.
  • Prepare for and or participate in mediations, arbitrations, depositions and trials.
  • Analyze and evaluate cases, develop litigation strategies, and provide risk assessments to clients. 
  • Communicate effectively with clients, claims representatives, and opposing counsel.
  • Attend court hearings, trials and other legal proceedings as necessary.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years experience in insurance defense or civil litigation preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance law, litigation procedures, and court rules.
  • Exceptional research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client service.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed in CA in good standing.
