A prominent General Contractor is seeking an ambitious Assistant Project Manager to join their team. Specializing in ground-up commercial projects across various sectors, this role provides a unique opportunity to gain experience across diverse commercial builds, including retail, office spaces, mixed-use developments, and more.

Assistant Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager in overseeing ground-up commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, cost estimates, and project schedules while ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Manage the procurement and allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination between subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality control measures, and project compliance.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide proactive solutions to keep the project on track.

Assistant Project ManagerKey Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in diverse commercial ground-up construction projects.
  • Ability to assist with multiple types of commercial builds, including office, retail, and mixed-use developments.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency with project management software and construction processes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred but not required.
