Field Service Technician

One of my best clients, a leading manufacturer of industrial machinery, is seeking a field service technician.

A bit about the company:

For over 100 years, they have been a leading producer of top-of-the-line, state-of-the-art large industrial equipment for the machining industry.

They have business booked through 2026 and no signs of it slowing. They are highly reputable, recession-durable, and operate in the US and internationally. Low turnover. 50k sq ft spotless facility, industry professionals.

• Door-to-door pay, 56 hrs a week avg., home on weekends.
• Average 30 weeks out of the year OTR, so about 60% travel. If no travel in the shop, but still consistently 56 hours a week.
• You are given 2 hours extra OT daily for out-of-town travel, AMEX, a computer, and a company phone.
• PLC troubleshooting competence is required, not programming them per se.
• It's nice to have a small amount of basic welding understanding, i.e., for fixing a broken bracket-stick welding. 
• 3+ years of experience in electrical-mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Control competence, like Allen-Bradley, but not programming.
• Proven ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. 
• Mechanically proficient, hydraulics, pneumatics,
