Senior Tax Manager – Tempe, AZ (Partner Track Opportunity)
A top regional accounting firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join its expanding office in Tempe, Arizona. Lead and manage complex tax compliance and consulting engagements for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
Review federal and state tax returns prepared by the team and ensure high-quality deliverables that meet compliance requirements
Provide strategic tax planning, research, and advisory services for clients across a wide range of industries
Mentor, coach, and supervise a team of tax staff and seniors, providing guidance and performance feedback
Build and manage client relationships with a focus on long-term trust and value creation
Maintain deep technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations and actively identify tax-saving opportunities for clients
Collaborate with other departments and partners to deliver seamless, integrated client service
Assist in business development efforts, including networking, proposal development, and client presentations
CPA license required
Minimum of 7 years of recent experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
Strong leadership and supervisory experience with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
Proven experience in managing multiple client engagements simultaneously
High-level technical expertise in federal and multi-state tax issues; experience with real estate, construction, or pass-through entities a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism and accuracy
Must reside in the Phoenix metro area or be willing to relocate
