Tax Manager

Location: Eugene, OR (or Medford, OR)

Overview

A leading national advisory, tax and assurance firm is seeking a Tax Manager for its small business tax practice in Eugene, Oregon (Medford also considered). The role provides tax, accounting and advisory services to small business clients and leads client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax, accounting and advisory services to small business clients
• Oversee services pertaining to accounting, bookkeeping and prepared or compiled financials
• Review and analyze accounting records and reporting with clients
• Lead and plan client engagements and evaluate processes
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements
• Manage and build client relationships
• Mentor and develop team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• CPA preferred
• Several years of public accounting or similar tax/accounting experience
• Small business client experience preferred
• Strong client service and communication skills
