Tax Senior Manager - Construction

Location: Greenville, SC (other Southeast offices considered)

Overview

A growing Southeast accounting, tax and consulting firm is seeking a Tax Senior Manager for its closely held business practice focused on construction. Greenville, South Carolina is among the listed offices. The role oversees tax preparation and technical review for complex closely held construction businesses.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax preparation and technical review for complex closely held construction businesses
• Advise, research and identify tax issues and recommend solutions
• Delegate and manage tax assignments
• Train, support, supervise, motivate and review the work of the tax team
• Ensure compliance with state and federal tax regulations
• Perform related administrative and engagement management duties

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• CPA required
• Several years of progressive public accounting tax experience
• Construction industry tax experience preferred
• Strong leadership and client service skills
