Operations Manager – Food Production Facility

Job Description

We are currently seeking an exceptional Operations Manager to oversee regulatory and safety compliance at our food production facility. This role focuses on plant maintenance, team coordination, and various managerial responsibilities. The Operations Manager will play a key role in driving company growth and will collaborate closely with the General Manager on strategic planning.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure full regulatory and safety compliance across the plant.
  • Oversee plant maintenance and lead the maintenance team.
  • Assign and manage maintenance projects.
  • Monitor and control the plant operating budget.
  • Develop strategies for manufacturing and equipment improvements.
  • Plan and optimize processes to meet company goals.
  • Ensure all permits and licenses are up to date and compliant.
  • Implement corrective/preventive actions for customer complaints.
  • Maintain effective quality procedures.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Monitor workflow and labor utilization for efficiency.
  • Oversee production planning and scheduling.
  • Develop training and succession plans for direct reports.
  • Ensure staff are trained in safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Proven abilities in project management, planning, and decision-making.
