Job Title: Heavy Civil Construction Estimator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Heavy Civil Construction Estimator with 1-5+ years of experience estimating civil sitework projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in wet utilities (storm, water, sewer) installations and earthworks/grading. Experience with HCSS HeavyBid software is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for civil sitework projects

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents

• Estimate costs for wet utilities, earthworks, grading, and other civil construction activities

• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers

• Use HCSS HeavyBid software for bidding and cost analysis (preferred)

• Support the preconstruction and bidding process

Qualifications:

• 1-5+ years estimating experience in heavy civil construction

• Strong knowledge of civil sitework including wet utilities and earthworks

• Proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid preferred

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities
