The Market President is responsible for leading and growing the Bank’s presence within the local market. This executive role combines business development, credit and loan production oversight, talent leadership, and community engagement. The Market President serves as the face of the Bank in the market—driving profitable growth, building strong client relationships, and fostering a high-performing, service-oriented culture.
Provide overall strategic and financial leadership for the market, ensuring alignment with Bank objectives and profitability goals
Drive commercial loan and deposit growth through personal production and team leadership
Develop, coach, and retain a team of lenders and branch leadership; create a strong culture of accountability and collaboration
Maintain a strong understanding of credit quality, portfolio performance, and risk management standards
Serve as primary relationship manager for key commercial clients and centers of influence
Actively represent the Bank in the community through involvement in civic, business, and nonprofit organizations
Partner with credit, treasury, operations, and retail teams to deliver integrated client solutions
Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and economic conditions to identify growth opportunities
10+ years of banking experience, with progressive responsibility in commercial lending and leadership
Proven success in business development and portfolio management (C&I, CRE, or a combination)
Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and driving market-level performance
Strong credit knowledge and sound risk management judgment
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or formal credit training preferred
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sales orientation
Community-focused and relationship-driven approach
Ability to lead through influence and collaboration
High integrity, accountability, and professional presence
