Position Overview:
 We are seeking a talented and motivated Litigation Associate with four to ten years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience across all aspects of litigation, including written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial work preferred. Candidates with a background in labor and employment law, public sector law, appeals, or affirmative litigation are strongly encouraged to apply. This role offers the opportunity to take on significant case responsibility, including direct client contact, investigations, depositions, hearings, and trial work, while contributing to high-impact cases that shape public sector law.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of litigation, including written discovery, depositions, and motion practice
Represent clients in court and administrative hearings, including the Public Employment Relations Board
Conduct trial work and assume ownership of assigned cases
Maintain direct client contact, lead investigations, and develop case strategies
Participate in high-profile matters involving state and federal constitutional and statutory law
Handle cutting-edge legal issues related to public sector law, labor and employment law, and appeals
Qualifications & Skills:
4–10 years of litigation experience, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial work
Strong academic credentials and a proven ability to manage complex legal issues
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience in labor and employment law, public sector law, or appellate practice is a plus
Ability to work independently, take ownership of cases, and manage client relationships
Demonstrated commitment to public interest law or serving the public sector is highly desirable
