Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test, and oversee electrical systems and components. This role involves working cross-functionally with project managers, mechanical engineers, and field teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

- Design electrical systems, circuits, and components for new and existing projects
- Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and single-line drawings
- Perform power distribution analysis, load calculations, and equipment sizing
- Select and specify electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, motors, drives, PLCs, and control panels
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and control systems
- Conduct site visits for field verification, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and process engineering teams
- Review and approve contractor submittals and shop drawings
- Ensure all designs comply with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and local electrical codes
- Prepare project documentation including specifications, BOMs, and test procedures
- Support project estimation by providing electrical scope and material takeoffs
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians as needed

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering (industrial, commercial, or manufacturing preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
- Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and relevant IEEE standards
- Experience with power distribution, motor controls, and instrumentation
- Familiarity with PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- PE license preferred but not required
- EIT certification is a plus
